Personal Development and Education

When preparing employee education and development, we cooperate with leading Czech educational agencies. We carry out a wide range of activities, group and individual language training, including Spanish, Italian and Chinese, we provide IT skills training to our employees – MS Office, graphic software, and we also organize professional trainings in SAP.

As for tools and technology, we use the modern LMS system with both external and internal e-learning, webinars, we have a training centre equipped with interactive boards and other technology. In recent years, we have been awarded financing from the EU funds exceeding CZK 10 million in total.

Our internal tutors engage in teaching special technologies. The specialized library includes nearly 8,000 books, we have access to a number of international scientific databases. We enable our employees to participate in seminars and conferences in the Czech Republic as well as abroad.

We have a demanding training programme Talent PRECIOSA in place for future leaders, which brings internal and external courses, field trips, managerial forums and educational projects in the course of 2 years. Thanks to the programme, the future managers may establish vital contacts across the PRECIOSA Group.

Modern Equipment

PRECIOSA pays attention to the development of the product portfolio, technical know-how and the equipment itself. There are continuous investments in development, purchase and implementation of new facilities. Many production process nodes are equipped with technology and machinery developed directly for the needs of the company. Unique production devices are created in cooperation of the development department with top external partners and enable us to be a company with international sales.

Our inspection sites are equipped with high quality measuring technology, we operate an accredited laboratory, have a wide range of testing and experimental devices in development laboratories. Moreover, the innovative technology and experience of our employees ensure sufficient flexibility in terms of any new customer requirements.

The Crystal Valley

We call the area where the premises of PRECIOSA are located the Crystal Valley. It stretches from Harrachov to Kamenický Šenov and you can find a glass factory or glass production facility at each ten kilometres. And why should you work in the Liberec Region? Because it is an ideal place for life.

You and your family will find clean air and beautiful nature here. It only takes a few minutes to get from your workplace to the mountains. On your way to work, you will not be surprised by traffic jams and if you want, you are free to walk or cycle to work. The region offers a rich cultural and sports life (skiing, cycling, hiking, technical and cultural sights, theatres, cinemas, zoo and a botanical garden and much more). And it takes less than an hour to get to the capital.

PRECIOSA Foundation

The Foundation is one of the oldest company foundations in the Czech Republic. In more than thirty years of existence, it distributed over CZK 300 million to organizations and individuals. We support mostly activities within the region, invest in education, science and training, healthcare, sports and culture. We help PRECIOSA employees if they find themselves in difficult life situations and we support handicapped people.
The activity of the Preciosa Foundation relies not only on finances, but also largely on the work of our volunteers. Volunteering has become an integral part of our company's life. You can also become a volunteer. Working for others will bring you interesting experiences and feelings of joy and happiness.
