We are a modern, commercial and manufacturing glassmaking company. We process 35 tons of glass every day. Our production relies on both the latest technologies and traditional techniques. We deal with the development of glass, glassmaking technologies, new materials and nanomaterials. We serve customers in 200 countries and run 13 foreign business representation offices. The PRECIOSA group employs about four thousand people thanks to whose craftsmanship Bohemian glass by PRECIOSA is admired by people all over the world. You can become a member of our team too.

More about our selection procedure

Upon publishing an advertisement, we collect CVs for 1–2 weeks. Then we evaluate all CVs and invite the first applicant for an interview. The selection procedure usually has two to three rounds and takes 2 to 6 weeks, depending on a specific position and the time flexibility of applicants.

The first days at a new job

We know that starting a new job has a major impact on most people’s life and that is the reason why we try to make your fresh start as easy as possible.
On starting their new job all new white-collar workers receive an adaptation plan which is prepared by a respective superior, or mentor or HR.

  1. The plan shows the training courses, seminars, educational trips, etc. that have to be attended during the adaptation period. At this stage the new workers often have a chance to see the entire production flow and to get to know the other departments to get a bigger picture.
  2. The program of the adaptation plan also includes a Welcome Day which is held regularly every 3 months and which enables you to meet the whole PRECIOSA group and its individual segments, products or history.
  3. During the adaptation period the new employee attends meetings which focus on the evaluation and updates of the plan.
  4. At the end of the adaptation period, the employee’s plan is officially evaluated in the presence of the respective director. The employee also provides his evaluation: first, during the assessment of the adaptation period and then in a poll, which helps us to further improve the adaptation process.
